26/02/06: HAPS crash out of VDE/Angling Times Supercup

Today HAPS crashed out of the VDE/Angling Times Supercup by finishing 2nd on a bitterly cold day when fish were hard to find. Mostly skimmers & perch were caught in the the first two hours but little after that. The match was won by Enfield on 9 points,  HAPS with 11 points  & Ashmole Rodders on 18 points. Out of the 18 anglers  Only 12 anglers managed  to catch, with mainly  1-3 fish (skimmers /Perch caught on either bread punch or worm down the track.
