Despite another low turn out the weather was
just right for a few bream. Ist Alan Tunney completing a run of three wins
in a row topped the field with 4 bream & a few skimmers for 19-2-0, and the
crownibg glory was scooping the Golden peg pool of £170. Followed closely by
the league leader was Neville Smith bream & skimmers for 15lb
for second place. Third for 14-4-0 with skimmers & roach was Rob
Latham form peg 21.
It was nice to see Russ Huckle back on the bank after a long lay off,
although he did give the field a scare when pulling out his net it seems he
had won the match and only fishing for 4 hours, but he'd only put carp in
the net which did not count and fisnished up with 7.2.0 |
