Congratulation go out to Chris Stanton. After turning up early for once he proceeded to draw peg 36 and the golden peg. After several carp and bream (the last person to weigh in) the weigh in was going to be tight as it was rumoured that it was tight between Chris  & Mehmet . 'Stan' first weigh with 7 carp managed 39-10-0. It was down to the silver fish net, as Mehmet had weighed 50-8-0.   The silvers mainly bream weighed 14-12-0  and Stan had managed not only winning the match but also scooped the golden peg pool of £300
Mehmet second, had all carp weight (7)  Third was Neville Smith on peg 24  with 17-14-0
Generally although the first day of good weather for at least a week  of rain it fished disappointingly for most.
Now the golden peg has gone the new golden peg pools stands at £136
The league is headed by new leader Russ Huckle folowed by Barry Allen 2nd & Alan Tunney 3rd
