Despite the recent fish kill from
chemicals washed into the lake via a recent flood from the surround
fields weights were extremely low compared to previous season where
100lb would win the match. First up was Alan Tunney with 6 carp for
23-8-0 fishing pellet shallow on the far bank. 2nd was Andy Gosland
with carp for 21-8-0 from favoured peg 16.
Joint 3rd after after recalculating the scales was Dave Whitman and
Richard McCorry with 17-6-0 Dave having 4 lb carp and rest made up
with silver fish, Richard had 4 carp |
